The streets of Boston and its environs are in desperate need of decoration. When people become isolated and don't notice their surroundings, they miss out on a lot of beauty and joy in the world. The mission of the Beantown Chalk Monsters is to use sidewalk chalk to create fun public drawings, to bring out the inner child in all of us, and to give the ordinary bystanders a chance to join in, and let them throw their cares away for a moment of their day. We're all about enhancing happiness through sidewalk chalk drawings. There is absolutely no need to be any sort of professional artist to be a Chalk Monster. As long as the drawings aren't inappropriate, and avoid profanity, the sky (or, more accurately, the sidewalk) is the limit!!
