The streets of Boston and its environs are in desperate need of decoration. When people become isolated and don't notice their surroundings, they miss out on a lot of beauty and joy in the world.

The mission of the Beantown Chalk Monsters is twofold: to create fun public drawings using ordinary sidewalk chalk (non-toxic and easy-to-clean!) in order to bring out the inner child in all of us, and to give the ordinary bystanders a chance to throw their cares away for a moment of their day and join in, providing fun and interactive creations for all to enjoy.
