Nick Carlisle a.k.a. Mopitus Adjessant
Nick, along with T. Bob Tubb co-founder Tim Johnston, co-founded T. Bob Tubb with Tim. A native of
Bangor, Maine, Nick attended Brown University where he served as Graphics Editor at the Brown Daily Herald (where he authored a semi-regular comic strip
Checkmate) and produced a short-lived but monthly satirical newspaper, The Brown Baby Gerald. To this day, Nick
continues to draw, write, be silly, and even try his hand at a little music! Check out his Homepage to see all of this and more... |
Tim Johnston a.k.a. Walter Stemple
Tim, also from Bangor (yeah...get used to this 'Bangor' thing...), is just as musical
as he is silly. After performing with Lurch, Avant Garden, and Lotus in high school (not to mention countless musical projects with Nick in French class), Tim went
on to front pseudo-mega-bands Fork and Spoon Raspberry and Dr. Radical. With his radio show, the
Soil and Green Show, Tim's been able to spread the word of T. Bob Tubb. |
Mr. Crump
Busy as he is, enrolled in PolySci grad school at Suffolk University in Boston, Mr. Crump still finds time to serve as T. Bob
Tubb's de facto Producer. "The Crumpster," as no one calls him, has super-flawlessly stage-managed most, if not all, of T. Bob Tubb's live performances at the New Contookook lounge. His timing and light-switch abilities were
put to the test during these shows, and he handled them all perfectly. Go Crump! |
Biff-Donn Walker
Biff-Donn's first contribution to T. Bob Tubb was his participation in the PhotoSkit The Other Big Squeeze.
He sure bent over backwards for that one! Heh, heh. Just a little humor there. Anyway, Biff-Donn went on the be an avid T. Bob supporter in its fledging performance days, and has gone on
to join the ranks as a live performer! His most recent skit, Retard Non-Retardo, is available for view on our Live Shows page, on 11-8-03. Check it out! |
Ijogah Veighme
Surprisingly, the first live show Ijogah attended was also the first one in which she ever
participated. As Julie in Retard Non-Retardo, Ijogah drew copious guffaws from the audience. Of course, Ijogah is also widely known for her work in the video skit Wine and Cheese Party,
as well as her voice-over as Herb Vickinson's lovely wife Laurina in Iraqi Election. |
Wilkh Brentt
Wilkh, a co-conspirator of Nick's at Brown, has found himself embroiled in PhotoSkits and
Lollipops in recent times. You'll soon hear Wilkh's voice more than you hear your Grandma say "Jules...this is Grandma...I want to thank you for the flowers..."
A computer science whiz at Brown University, Wilkh now resides in Nashua, NH. |
Teemp Dakanott
Nick's college roommate Teemp hails from New York State and now resides in Boston. Teemp enjoys such wholesome activities as feeding beer to carpets, feeding beer to his mouth,
and ordering big jerks from the local quik-e-mart.
Teemp can also be heard in the Audio Skit Phone Call Public Service Announcement, and seen in the video skit The Long Goodbye. Listen loud! |
Lawrence St. Laurence
A fellow Brown grad with Nick and company, Lawrence now attends Berklee College in Boston. Although long-time friends with Nick,
Lawrence has only recently made the jump into T. Bob goodness, with his participation to the up-and-coming Secret Handshake Video Skit.
Lawrence is also an avid supporter of T. Bob Tubb, having been in the audience for almost all of our live performances. |
Lukash Pinto
Lukash, a current and former co-worker of both Nick and Ijogah Veighme, made her T. Bob debut as one of Herb Vickinson's children
in Iraqi Election. Or, check her out in her video debut, Wine and Cheese Party.
Lukash is also inspiration for much of the material written by Nick. Skits like the video Suggestion Box originated with some
of Lukash's musings. |

W. Upton Downs
Mr. Downs, or "Up," or "W.," or "W. Upton Downs," as he's sometimes commonly known, traces his deep roots with Tim
and Nick back to Bangor and its high school -- affectionately known as "Bangor High School" -- where he often worked with the aforementioned Tubbsters on many silly and
meaningless projects. His bizarre sense of humor offers an unparallelled twist to T. Bob Tubb's humor. Once writing from afar in Washington, W. Upton recently made the big
move back to Boston and resides less than four blocks from Tim and Nick. Wheee!! |
Victor Arious
Nick's former roommate Victor is perhaps best known as T. Bob Tubb's voiceover king. See his beautiful work in Dictionary and
Visionene. A former editor for UMaine's newspaper, Vic is an avid comic book artist, and will soon be authoring comic books and graphic novels that your children might someday
read. So be nice to him, or he'll corrupt your children. |

Mrs. Savvides
Mrs. Savvides found herself in the T. Bob Tubb world by living with Tim back in '01. A graduate of the University of Maine,
Mrs. S. now resides in the quaint seaside commune of Nags Head, North Carolina. Because of her loving cat ownership, Mrs. Savvides was able to bring the first ever feline Tubbster, Koobywoob, into the loop.
And her twenty-five subsequent kittens. |
Belivida Phaereday
Belivida, hailing from the wonderful states of Tennesexas, found herself at the University of Maine with Tim and Sekshun, where
she was immediately whisked into the T. Bob Tubb circle. As Suzy in Cowboy Greg and Virginia-Marie in Witness Protection?, Belivida established herself as a bona fide
Tubbster. Her current residence in the same building as Walter only ensures that you will likely hear her voice in a T. Bob Tubb skit yet to come. |
Koobywoob
Good ol' Kooby, Woob extraordinaire and mother of 26, saw her T. Bob Tubb debut in Ellsworth Gun and Kitten Outlet. Born in the
summer of 1999 and adopted by Mrs. Savvides, Kooby gave birth to, among other Woobs, Quasiwoob (Vic Arious' kitty) and Petrowoob and Deductawoob (Nick's two kitties). Passed up by for the lead meow position
in Polymeow, Kooby still hopes to be a part of future T. Bob Tubb skits. |
Sudsy McPoopinthetub
Mr. PcPoop and his brother Sekshun Cheeph came to Bangor from New Hampshire. Not too much of an improvement, as they say. Living with Tim in the year 2000, Sudsy found his
place in T. Bob Tubb inevitable. His first stint was the Cold War Reenactment, a now-classic. Sudsy also played a good role in Beerdad. |
Haibac Twyce
Tim's brother Haibac met Tim when he was 0 years old, and their relationship
has blossomed ever since. You might (in fact, will!) hear Haibac in his T. Bob Tubb debut, Witness Protection?. Or, you can see him in his latest
Video Skit, Suggestion Box. Haibac now resides in Boston and wears a large cowboy hat, just because he does. He also is a stunt double for Kevin Millar when he
says "Cowboy Up." |
Polly Ollyop
Polly's first foray into T. Bob Tubb was, oddly enough, as the photo subject
for Psychic Acquaintances. Soon after, she served as both photographer and subject for many of T. Bob Tubb's PhotoSkits.
It's only a matter of time before she participates in the recording of skits, no doubt. Polly is a graduate of Washington University in St. Louis and has returned there for law school. |

moot.
Nick's older brother moot. is the reason you're reading this right now. Not only a devoted fan
of ours, moot. is also, and more importantly, the guiding e-force that keeps us on the information super-interstate. He's given us a bits and bytes of server space and has given us countless
advice tidbits to make tbob.net most accessible to you. Thanks, moot.! |
Sekshun Cheeph
Sekshun, with Tim, Nick and Upton, rounds out the silly-group that, in Bangor,
would ultimately become T. Bob Tubb. His writership and craziness ispires T. Bob Tubb to no end; hear him in Occifers and see him in Video Skits
The Long Goodbye and The Suggestion Box. Alternating between Maine
and Pennsylvania, Sekshun now is back in Penna. Oh, wait. No, he's in China now. |
Ishmael Loomis
Ishmael, shown here doing what he does best -- downing a bottle of champagne to ring in the new year of 2002-- joins T. Bob Tubb as
a frequent photo subject. Nick brought Ishmael's (and Tim's!) head on a road trip across the country...and back. Special thanks to him for his sharing of the Gesselshaft with us to stay in on more than one New Years'. Ishmael, a graduate
of New York University, now works, lives and breathes in -- you guessed it -- Manhattan. |
Sexy Lips
Mr. Lips has been entertaining Tubbsters for eons. His T. Bob Tubb debut was in 2003's Third Promo, with a solo
outtake in Sexy Lips. |
Splatt Jones
Splatt, a relative newcomer to T. Bob Tubb, found his debut in Pencils and Terrorists.
Splatt is an alumnus of the University of Southern Maine and now makes his living in Greater Bangor working at Acadia Hospital. |
